The Supreme Power

We had another awesome time with God Sunday @ 10:30 when He showed His Supreme Power. There were at least 5 people that were sanctified by asking God to sanctify them. In this sermon we looked over the areas we have looked at during our Use It or Lose it series. We looked at areas of our live that WE CAN live for Christ and looked at where would we receive the power to live the life God has for us. We looked at YOU CAN USE WHATEVER GOD GIVES YOU. YOU CAN BE A RELATIONSHIP BUILDER. YOU CAN MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME. YOU CAN LEARN TO LIVE LIFE OUTSIDE THE COMFORT ZONE. YOU CAN ACCEPT THE ULTIMATE GIFT. and YOU CAN RECEIVE THE SUPREME POWER.

This supreme power comes from a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. The only way to have this closer relationship is by surrendering completely to Him. Have you taken that step? If so please contact us and let us know about it.

The Ultimate Gift

We had an awesome service with God really letting us feel His presence. I knew from the beginning that God had something special. There were two people re-dedicate their lives to Jesus with a commitment to repent! Three people signed up for the Basic Bible Studies, What a beginning for their lives.

We learned about faith. We learned about some good faith that would not get us into heaven and we learned what saving faith is. You can not GROW into saving faith. You cannot KNOW enough to get you into heaven. You cannot get into heaven with TEMPORIAL faith. You must TRUST Christ ALONE to have saving faith.

One of the most important things we learned about saving faith is it will bring about repentance in our lives, we will not want to live as we used to live.

One converstaion I had after church was,"How do I know if I have sin in my life." I would love to hear some answers to that one.

Life Outside the Comfort Zone

I felt the presence of God in a great way Sunday. I beleive He was doing and trying to do many things in our lives. FAITH, WOW How much do you have? A little? I put my little faith in a GREAT BIG GOD! and He can do much with my little.

We discovered Lifeout of the comfort zone can lead us to more faith. We looked at we can let our crisis lead us to a place of faith, We should be prepared to be streched, We MUST put our faith into action or it is not faith at all, and God would like for us to share our faith stories with others.

Would you do that now? Tell us of something God has done in your life.

Making the Most of Your Time Part Part 2

It was wonderful to see three people dedicating their live to Jesus. God is truly doing miracles in our midst.

How do you use your time? We looked at setting Godly goals for the next ninety days. we looked at setting a goal for intellectual growth, learn something new; Physical growth, do something good for your body ( I will try to get the proper amount of rest); Relational growth, build a friendship; and spiritual growth, find a way to grow closer to God. Read your Bible daily, Pray daily, Attend Church regularly, ?.

Making the Most of Your Time Part 1

Where are you on the clock of time/ 8:20 AM, 11:20 AM or are you approaching midnight? Where ever we are we need to choose to let our life matter for something bigger then we are. I choose to let that somebody be Jesus and helping people live for eternity. What is bigger then you that you are living for?

We looking at 5 principles for making the most of our lives. They were: ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY TIME, BELIEVE GOD WILL HELP ME, CLARIFY WHAT’S MOST IMPORTANT, DON’T WAIT TO BEGIN, and ENLIST A SPIRITUAL PARTNER.

Have you started? The only time you have left is the rest of your life and every second(depressing again) you live you are that more closer to eternity.I am working on who will be the one person to be my spiritual partner. I have prayed about that today and am looking for God's guidance in picking this person.

It was nice to have two new families with us on Sunday.

HOW TO BE A DAD YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE

We looked at five principles of Fatherhood. First we cansee how these five principles will help with any relationship. To build a relationship God teaches us to ACCEPT THEIR UNIQUENESS, AFFIRM THEIR VALUE, TRUST THEM WITH RESPONSIBILITY, CORRECT WITHOUT CONDEMNING and LOVE THEM UNCONDITIONALLY.

It was so exciting to see two people coming to Jesus and accepting His unconditional love for them.

Which area could you use God's help in and why?

Using Whatever God Gives You

We started learning about is Use It or Lose It from God? In the parable of the Talents, the person that would not use their talent lost it and it was given to the person who used their talents. Do you have abilities, money or anything else God has given you that you are not using for God? What might your life be like if God was to remove it? What would you life be like if God was to add to your life?

What about everything belongs to God, God has loaned you what you have, its wrong to not use what you have, and if you don't use it you will lose it.

I have had a couple faith questions asked this week. If you could post those here we can receive more answers and help more people.
